of sorts. It's an awesome car that many people have made hella fast and look awesome. The same holds true with the Z and many other cars. The thing is, it's power production is the MAIN thing looked at by the mass population when it comes to the Supra (which isn't bad necessarily). Despite the fact that it CAN be made to handle awesome, CAN be made to look sweet, CAN do this and that, it's not readily recognized as such by Joe Schmoe. The typical thought is: "Wow...must be fast!".' With some of the other cars on the list, the Z included, there's a total package (Go ahead Supra guys, roll your eyes :). But it's true and hundreds of critics who know WAY more than you or I have echoed that for a decade. Stock off the lot the Z had a total package system of looks, feel, speed, etc. Heaven forbid another car might be faster, but it's usually at a COST (that being $10,000+ for the Supra and more for other cars). Moerso than most any other car of it's time (as well as before and some after). As far as polls are concerned or remembering back to cars 10-20-30 years after they've been released, that's what matters. This is not to say that one car is particularly "better" than another, but that's how it is in these scenarios. No car can be better as long as a nasty little pain in the ass called "opinion" exists. Okay, I've taken this way past a normal post LOL.
